Welcome to our new website
We’ve launched a new website to make it easier for you to find the information you need.
New home page
We have simplified the homepage and the menus. The menus are grouping relevant topics together. At the bottom of the page are additional links for quick navigation around the site. These footer links are available on every page.
There is a search box in the top right corner to access the search function. Type a search term here to access the search page. It include popular search topics.
Practising Law in Queensland
Contains information for those working as a solicitor in Queensland including information about practising certificates. There is also the key reference documents such as the Australian Solicitor Conduct Rules, Interest rates and REIQ contracts.
Directory
The directory allows you to search online for solicitors and law firms operating in Queensland. It can also assist you to find mediators, arbitrators, locums and district law associations to connect with your peers in the legal profession. The directory allows you to select your filters such as searching for a mediator who does personal injuries matters or a district law association in Far North Queensland.

Member only content
Some of QLS's content is member only, remember to sign in to see member only content.
Forms Library
A QLS Forms library has been created to house all our forms together.
Search page
Metadata has been added to all pages to assist searching. This means QLS content will soon be easily searched via Google. We will continue to work on the metadata and search function over the coming months.
The search results can be further refined by metadata that has been added to the site. The filters are on the left hand side and the results will automatically update as you make each selection.
